TOPEKA, KANSAS - Sondra Sue "Sandy" Musick, 54, Topeka, was killed Saturday, April 24, 1999, in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of US-75 highway and Nebraska Route 2 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

She was born July 23, 1944, in Topeka, to Henry and Hazel Evenger Wendland, and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1962.  She began work for the Noller Ford agency in 1968 and continued to work for the new owners, Midway Ford, as warranty manager for the past three years.

She was member of Sunflower Sod Stompers and a volunteer in the Nar-non program at Menninger in Topeka for the past 10 years.

She married Marion "Rex" Musick on November 17, 1962, in Topeka.  He survives.  Other survivors include a daughter, Danielle Musick, Topeka; her mother Hazel Wendland, Topeka; a brother Richard Wendland, Topeka; and sisters, Arloa Ann Uhl and Pauline Braden, both of Topeka, Dixie Mann, Fort Myers, Florida, and Louise Moyer, Berryton.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel Funeral Home.  Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Berryton.  Contributions were made to the Sandy Musick Memorial Fund which was not yet designated at the time of burial.
