Tom White Tom White, 68, of Tecumseh, died at home on Monday, August 19, 2013 with his family by his side. Tom was born on February 6, 1945 in Topeka KS to Lewis and Marion Fletcher White. Tom served two years in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded a bronze star. He married Lila May DeJarnette in August of 1975 in Elko NV. He was an over the road truck driver for Frito Lay Co. for twenty-three years and for Breason Trucking out of Perry KS for five years. Tom's interests included old cars, old time music and his family. Surviving him are his children Stacey Hottman (Todd), Olathe KS; Marci Hurst (Greg), Arlington, Wa; Jennifer White, Pomona KS; Danny White (Judith), Topeka KS; and Amy Schroeder (Karl), Salt Lake City, UT. One brother, Jim White (Ruby) Junction City KS; twelve grandchildren and three great-grand children also survive. He is preceded in death by one sister. Family will greet friends on Thursday, August 22, 2013, beginning at 5:30 pm with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 Urish Road, Topeka, KS 66614.
