BERRYTON - Dale R. Wadley, 51, Berryton died Monday, Feb 17 1997 at a Topeka hospital

   Mr. Wadley had worked for the Santa Fe Railway since September, 1964.

   He was born March 21, 1945, in Topeka, the son of Carol Wadley and Thelma Beckley Wadley.  He graduated from Highland Park Hight School in 1963, and attended Washburn University.  He lived his entire life in the Topeka and Berryton areas.

   Mr Wadley was a member of the Transportation and Communication Union No. 427 in Topeka and the Berryton United Methodist Church.

    He married Dianna Rettig on July 16, 1965, in Berryton.  She survives.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Teresa Hatfield, Wichita, and Tracey Wadley, Topeka; his father, Carol Wadley, Topeka; and two brothers Gary Wadley, Berryton, and Larry Wadley, Topeka.

   Graveside services were held at 1pm Friday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Richland.
