Herschell Hennessee, 63, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007 under the loving care of his family and staff at the VA nursing home. Herschell was born on August 5, 1944 in Marshall, AR. The son of Clyde Hennessee and Famey Kuhn. He served for the US Army and fought for our country in Vietnam. He had love for the outdoors, especially baseball and fishing. He spent many years coaching baseball teams. He enjoyed working around his home in Leslie, AR. He is survived by 6 children, Andy and his wife Kelly of Topeka, Shawn and his wife Tracy of Las Vegas, NV, Casey and her husband Steven of Topeka, Jason, Victoria, and Joseph all of Topeka. Two brothers, Bill of Leslie, AR, Ronnie and his wife Cheryl of Topeka, and 5 grandchildren Brandon, Alex, Austin, Alayna and Alivia. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the Oxley Baptist Church, Oxley, AR. Graveside military services will be held at Kuykendall Cemetary.
