Linda Howell 1945 ~ 2009 Linda Hedrick McCulloch Howell was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 14, 1945. She passed away peacefully of kidney cancer, surrounded by family and friends, in Coronado, California on March 3, 2009. Linda lived a selfless life on Earth. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all those who knew her. She always thought of others first, and herself second. To her children and grandchildren, Linda represented a living example of what it means to be Christlike. Indeed, she was a lover of life, and expressed her love of life through her deep respect of nature and her love and acceptance of all people. Linda was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands Robert Howell and Michael McCulloch, her son David McCulloch, and her brother Eugene Hedrick. She is survived by her children Marc and Kari McCulloch, Patti Cheselske, Mary Lyn Howell Keene, Keith Howell and her beloved dog Taffy. Daughters and sons in-law Alyce McCulloch, Christine McCulloch, Lisa McCulloch, Cathy Howell, Jared Cheselske, Harry O'Halloran, and Pat Keene. Linda has 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom love her eternally. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6 at the LDS Church, 4741 Mt. Abernathy Ave., San Diego (viewing beginning at 10:30). A viewing memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, in Orem, Utah at the LDS Church, 114 S. 400 W., with internment to follow at Provo City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, at www.livestrong.org
