Dale Wesley Phelps died Mar. 1, 2010. He was born Aug. 17, 1945, in Topeka, to Percy and Gladys Staats Phelps. They preceded him in death. 

He graduated from Highland Park High School, attended Washburn Univ., and was a jeweler. 

He is survived by numerous cousins who loved and will miss him. 

Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 6 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. 

Burial will be at Frankfort Cemetery. 

Dale will lie in state after 3 p.m. on Friday.
