Pam was always such a delight; she was born on May 24, 1949 and passed away on December 20, 2008.

Pamela Rose Ferguson, 59, Topeka, passed away Sat. Dec. 20, 2008. Pam was born May 24, 1949 in Manhattan, the daughter of Rex L. and Emma Heptig Guthrie. She graduated in 1968 from Highland Park High School. Pam and Paul Ferguson were married in 1968. She was a homemaker and owned and operated Smith Brothers Automatic Transmission Service with her husband from 1983 to 2000. He preceded her in death Jan. 2, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Troy Ferguson; daughter, Amy Wright (Austin); grandchildren, Lanie and Evan Wright; her parents, Rex and Emma Guthrie; and a brother, Dennis Guthrie, all of Topeka. Mrs. Ferguson will lie in state from 11 to 3 p.m. Sun., Dec. 28th at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS 66614, where family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Mon. Dec. 29th at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
