Dal was such a fun loving guy, always was ready to tease you.  Dal was born on February 8, 1950 and sadly left this life on January 18, 2007. 

Dal H. Lowrey, 56, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, January 18, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born February 8, 1950 in Topeka the son of Raymond H. and Marjorie Grace Lowrey. Dal graduated from Highland Park High School and Washburn University with a BA in Communications. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union #226. Dal was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of Topeka Bowhunters, Inc. Dal married Karen, March 11, 1968 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Dal H. Lowrey, Jr., and wife Missy; Jim Lowrey and wife Marilee, three brothers, Larry, Ron, and Richard Lowrey, Sr.; four grandchildren Wesley, Madison, Jared and Wyatt all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judy K. Knox. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2007 at Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
