Bob McKinley VIEW PROFILE

Bob was the nicest guy, he loved his classmates and his Harley.  Bob was born on March 23, 1950 and rode into the sunset on May 8, 2001.

 

Robert Alan McKinley, 51, Topeka, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at his home.

Mr. McKinley was employed by Diebold Inc. for 19 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was born March 23, 1950, in San Diego, to Ted Balloue and Verena Ella Schiffbauer McKinley. He had lived in Topeka since 1962 and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1968.

Mr. McKinley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He married Debbie Lundgren on July 26, 1980, at Westmoreland. She survives, of the home.

Survivors also include a son, Ted "Jacob" McKinley, of the home; a daughter, Allison McKinley, of the home; his mother, Verena E. McKinley, Rossville; and a brother, Michael K. McKinley, Topeka.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery with military honors by a Fort Riley detail. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. today at the home.
