Memorial Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in the Flush community northwest of Wamego for David Ridder, 52, Topeka, who died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born June 11, 1950, in Manhattan, to Kenneth B. and Betty Umscheid Ridder, and spent most of his life in Topeka. He had worked at the Goodyear Plant and Cargill Grain Elevators and had owned David's Glass. He ended his career as a warehouse manager at Jayhawk File Express.

Survivors include sons, Charles A. Ridder and John D. Ridder, both in Topeka, and Tony J. Ridder and Jesse R. Ridder, both in Lawrence; parents, Kenneth and Betty Ridder, Auburn; sisters, Cindy A. Stone and Chris Plachecki, both in Topeka; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Ridder was cremated. Inurnment will be in Flush Cemetery.
