Linda was full of school spirit; she was born March 9, 1950 and went to heaven on December 31, 2005.

Linda Fe Myrick, 55, Carbondale, passed away Sat., Dec. 31, 2005. Linda was born in Topeka, March 9, 1950, the daughter of the late Owen Udell and Faye Murphy Turrentine. She graduated in 1968 from Highland Park High School. In 1969, Linda and Harold Eugene "Mike" Myrick, Jr. were married and are the parents of two sons. They later divorced. Linda worked at NeKan Bell Credit Union and Let's Help. Surviving are her sons, Christopher Myrick, Northeast MD, and Jeffrey Myrick, Carbondale; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mary Turrentine; siblings, Gregg Turrentine, Brook Murphy, Sandy Meier, Randy Turrentine, Debbie Wilmers, and David Turrentine. Linda will lie in state and family will greet friends from 6 to 8 Wed. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thurs. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
