The Alumni Association is responsible for awarding scholarships to a graduating senior to be used for tuition and/or books to any accredited trade or technical school, community college, college or university.  

The Alumni Scholarship utilizing funds from the interest earned in our scholarship fund and any fundraising efforts.  Donations are to be submitted to Highland Park High Alumni Association and designated as "scholarship fund" and these funds are tax deductible.  

Students make application in the spring of every year.  A committee made up of alumni members and alumni board members select up to three deserving seniors.  They are awarded their Alumni scholarship at the school's annual Awards Cermony in May.  Since 1994 we have awarded over $20,000 in scholarships.
