Profile Updated: November 7, 2017
Residing In: High Point, NC USA
Spouse/Partner: Curt Bradbrook
Occupation: retired
Children: Wendy, born 1971; William, born 1979.
We also have a fantastic grandson, David who was born on Sept. More…11, 2002. He lives in Maryland with our daughter Wendy and her husband Bill.
Comments:

I met my husband on Oct 1, 1969 at square dance classes and we were married on Feb. 20. 1970 in Torrance and moved to NC in 1971, and we are still happily married!
The things we most like to do are: still square dancing!, and going to ice hockey games. We have season tickets to the Carolina Hurricanes and when the "Canes" play against California teams, I can't lose!! We also enjoy going to Myrtle Beach, SC. The best part of that is we can go into the water and stay as long as we want without freezing!, like we did went to Redondo Beach, but the waves are lousy for body surfing!
I still enjoy going to Tony's on King's Pier and having a bowl of clam chowder when I come back to visit my family; my mother and brother still live in Torrance and my sister and her family live in Bakersfield. I really miss the weather here; in NC in the summer it is usually between 85 and 99 degrees with humidity of at least 80% if not more!

Happy Birthday Billl!!!! I am so sorry this is late, but as you know, I don't check the computer very often. I hope you had a wonderful day, and just maybe were able to see your grands! I am not getting out hardly at all right now, and am having some health issues where my spinal canal is getting narrower, and am having trouble walking. I have terrible pain in my buttocks, and down the backs of my legs when I get up in the am. can hardly walk down the hall to the front room, I'm going to have to make an appt with a spinal neurologist, I've already had a CT scan. Just put me on a horse, and slap his butt to take me off into the sunset, Not really, but am just getting so tired of pain issues. How are you and Denise doing? I hope you have been able to take a vacation this summer. If you go see your daughter, maybe you can swing this way on the way home. We'd love to see you. I don't think you've met Ginger, we've had her two years. She's sweet, but is very barky, esp when strangers first come in, but she eventually settles. Take care, and God bless,, love Cindi and Curt

I'm so sorry to hear about Gary's passing.  He was a great guy, almost always had a smile on his face.  I.'m glad that he didn[t go alone, that his family was with him.  There are too many of our classmates passing now, and we are really not all that old, and a number of them have been from cancer.  May they rest in peace!  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.   Gary, you will be missed.

So So So sad to hear of Cara's passingShe was always so beautiful, and she gave most people a smile as she walked by.  Blessings and prayers for peace for her family as they go through their time of sorrow.  I know their pain, my husband and I just (Feb. 10  '23 ) lost our daughter (51 yrs old) to early on-set Alzheimers.  It is so hard to loose a child, especially to something like that.  May peace be with her and her friends and family.

Hi Ron, I couldn't fine your e mail address, so I had to send this message to you this way. Please send me your e mail address, my new one is cindicurtb@gmail.com. I sent you a note in "21 about my daughter Wendy (now 51 yrs) having been diagnosed with "early onset Alzheimers. She passed on Fri. Feb. 10 in PA. She was in a hospice home for a couple of days before she passed. We were able to make it up to see her, we were able to spend an hour with her before she passed. It was really rough. She wanted her ashed spread here in our backyard, so her husband and son will bring them down sometime this spring or summer I guess. It really surprised us to find out what she wanted done with her ashes. I hope you and Sherry are doing well. Curt and I will be celebrating our 53rd anniversary tomorrow, Feb. 20th, but it won't be quite as happy as our other have been of course, but we were glad that we were with Wendy, and she is out of her misery not knowing people etc. Take care, and God bless......Cindi
