What have I been up to? Wow, falling in love with someone who already had a child, gave me an "instant family," so it was school, work and that all at the same time. I've got my teaching credential, but, because I want to be home for my kids, have chosen to substitute only. I also have the joy of being the Treasurer at my church, which allows me a lot of freedom in scheduling. We are active in our church (Long Beach Alliance) and I love growing closer to the Lord each and every day. He got me through tough times while growing up.
My family and I love to travel and have made it a goal to see all 50 states. We only have 15 more to go! We've spent a wonderful 3 weeks in the UK a few years ago also, and would love to go back. My husband Jim and I would like to travel the world once the boys are grown. Our daughter is an adult now and recently wrapped up working on the crew of Extreme Home Makeover (my hubby's family, not my hubby, works in the "industry" (not as glamorous as it seems).
Just been enjoying life and can't wait to hear from anyone who wants to chat or catch up.
