Comments:

I got my undergrad degree at Santa Clara U and my Master's at UMASS, Amherst. I traveled and studied abroad and lived some time in San Diego. I currently live in Corona with my family and teach Art History part time and online at several community colleges. One of my twins, Gracie, is a Leukemia survivor, a cause close to my heart.

School Story:

As seniors, I recall "kidnapping" the next year's Songleaders as a "celebration" for making the squad. Late one night we pulled them from their beds (with their parent's permission of course) I think shaving cream was involved somehow, and then we covered their heads with with pillow cases and...what else?... took them to Denny's! My Grand Wagoneer was loaded with girls, some wearing pillowcases, driving through Torrance around 3am when I got stopped by the cops. I guess the story was ridiculous enough to be believable and thankfully....they let us go. :)

Most embarrassing high school moment (that I can think of right now because I am sure there are many more!)- Coming back to school from a midday dentist appt. and having to parallel park my huge car in my coveted parking spot on the lower level. It took me about 10 times of backing up and going forward before I could finally put it in park. I got out of my car to the gracious applause of the entire lunch crowd.

Nothing was better than my 17th birthday which fell on the night of the Hawaiian themed Welcome Frosh Dance. My parents had just gone out of town and my beloved friends decided to throw me a surprise party at my house! I had a blast and thought my friends were so great. I don't think my parents had the same warm fuzzies.
