Sorry I never knew about 50th get together, but I couldn't have come, anyway. Live far away in the true Frozen North.

I have been many things since my graduation in 1965. Just a few of them have been believe it or don't, a freelance pallbearer, a long distance truck driver, a poet and playwright and priest. And, oh yes, an honest to goodness, ghost writer.

Have always lived on the edge, but seldom in the center. High school was one weird place and only some of it was worth having gone though. All of us must travel through those halls as it is one of the true rites of passage. I 've noticed that many of my then friends have passed on and that is too bad, but such is the way of the world. I will,too, one day or night. Perhaps, I'll meet them on the other side, but if not, I sure do hope the ride is not too bumpy.
There's one thing I've always wondered though, if illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup.
