Pete and I went all the way from K to 12. Pete saved my life once. I had way too much to drink and Pete noticed I wasn't breathing. He saw that I got home and stayed awake all night shaking me whenever I stopped breathing. By sun up I was breathing on my own. I tried to look him up a few years ago and found out he passed away just a week before I learned where he was living. Great friend, and one of the nicest people I ever have known. See you Buddy! But not too soon. Jim Hedgecock

Pete was a genuinely great guy. I loved reading about what Jim Hedgecock wrote regarding him. It is a good example of what a caring and loving guy he was.  It was a pleasure to know him and call him a THS friend.
