So in the spirit of remeniscing, I was looking through old yearbooks for pics, etc. and I came across this really sweet poem from our own Brittany Grigos (1998 yearbook) and I thought I'd re-publish it here (hope you don't mind Brit!!!)

Sitting in a room trying to remember...
Remembering both the good and bad times we have shared
Recalling the memories of the summers...
That have gone and those to come.

Looking at pictures, reminiscing,
Remembering everyone that has touched us.
Some people we have grown up with,
Others we have grown to know.

The memories we have made will last a lifetime.
The friends that we have made, may part.
But the pictures and faces will stay...
Stay forever.

Each of our paths have been chosen,
By each of our minds.
Our paths, have crossed, though,
To make our lives what they are today.

I thank you my friends.
For being with me through hardship and laughter.
Your kind words, faces, and feelings
Will stay with me forever.

Ok. So I'm really interested in knowing how everyone is doing. I'm also really kind of apprehensive. This whole class reunion thing seems to be happening too soon. The last 9 (almost 10) years went by much faster than I thought they would. I'm so excited to see that so many of the people who have filled in their profiles are doing well and have successful careers and families, etc. I also find it very tantilizing how some people have only filled in their home town. Somerville, MA eh? Should we suppose you are fabulous in Boston? Such and Such, CA - la di da. More information please. :)
This whole affair is leaving me feeling very much in the larval stage of becoming an adult. I imagine I am not the only one who is left with a feeling of "I have yet to accomplish all that I know I will." I still feel like a kid playing house and I'm wondering: How is everyone else feeling about all of this?

Amy I totally know what you mean. I'm absolutely denying the fact that we're getting older. I hate seeing movies that came out when we were younger and realizing how long ago that was. I am psyched to see all of you though, and laugh about it all!

Is there any idea of when it will be held? Or at least a ball park idea of a season?

Whenever there is info on the reunion where will it be posted? I'd love to come, but living in Florida... I'll need some notice is all! I can't wait to see everyone! I can't believe 10 years went by so quickly!!! I'm soooo excited! Thanks Tessa for getting everything together!

No worries, see my poll to vote and we will decide these things together! I'm leaning towards Thanksgiving or Christmas so it would work out with your trips home to see family, but I also tried to start planning early enough so that we have more options. Keep logging in, I will notify you via email when anything new is updated, or new questions are posted, or to share the results of the polls. Thanks for checking in!!

Anyone know how the planning brunch went? Between school and living far away I need alot of warning if I'm going to try to get up to CT.

Hello everyone! This is in response to Amy's question. The meeting in April went well. There is so much to get together and plan in a really short time.

Based on the outcome of the poll, majority expressed an interest in having the reunion in the Summer with a casual atmosphere. We came up with the idea of having an outing at Elk's Pond in August. So please keep this in mind even though we do not have a date yet. We figured afternoon into night.

Also, please email me any photos you have from high school (I won't tell why yet). The more the better!!!! Email them to jmclement24@yahoo.com.

Thanks everyone and I am looking forward to seeing you all!

Hey All, I'm glad you set a time. I hope you all have fun and I hope you will post pictures on the internet after the party. Fall Semester starts August 17th for me, so I will miss out on seeing you, :( Happy planning, hope it's fun!

To the Committee:

Now that it seems a Thanksgivingtide event is set, based on yesterday's email, I would like to argue for the weekend following Thanksgiving instead of any one of the "weekends" surrounding it. For those of us traveling from afar, and/or with difficult work or academic schedules, it might be the only weekend around the holiday which could conceivably work: allowing Thanksgiving and reunion to be combined into one trip instead of two.

Best,
Zachary

Hey guys,
Odd request. If anyone has pictures of me from high school could you mail a couple in for me? I lost all my pictures from before September 2005 in Hurricane Katrina.

Thanks,
Amy

Hi Guys!
If you didn't or couldn't come tonight, you missed a cool party. To everyone who I had the chance to talk to, I'm so glad we were able to meet again, and to everyone who didn't want to say "Hi", oh well, it could have been nice to know you. I hope everyone had a great time!
