While in college, I worked in Augusta, Georgia at local Country Club. While I was there I was given the opportunity to play Augusta National, the most prestigous and private course in the world. It was an amazing experience and one I'll never forget.
Mississippi State University '04; Major: B.A. Business: Emphasis in Risk Magagement, Insurance, and Financial Planning; Minor: Fitness Management
A few years back I opened my own Allstate Insurance agency in Georgia. I've been working very hard growing my business. Things have been amazing and I couldn't be happier with my career choice.
Back in 1999, I decided to attend Mississippi State University to enroll in their Professional Golf Management Program. This program is designed to train and show their students on how to run the business aspect of a golf course, become teaching professionals, or work in some related field in the golf industry.
At the time of graduation, I thought this is what I wanted to do for a living and thought by this time I would be head professional at a country club or golf course somewhere in the Southeast.
As you can see, I have actually followed in my father's footsteps and am selling insurance for one the best and most reputable insurance carriers in the world.
While I was in college, I traveled over to England and visited London for a week. This trip was a trip with the insurance department at Mississippi State University. We went over to see the beginnings of the insurance industry with Lloyd's of London as well as visit some of the world's largest reinsurers. The trip was educational as well as a lot of fun.

Spring Break in South Padre Island was one the best memories I have from school. Although there is not one particular story, it was by far the greatest time during high school years. Although, getting up at 6am to play golf in Texas during Spring Break after only about 2 hours of sleep was pretty ridiculous. How we ever were able to get up and make it to our tee time after the late nights that were experienced, was a accomplishment in itself.
I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 23. I never realized how much work it was living with Diabetes until I have actually been experiencing it.
I now do a lot of work with the Atlanta Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I was recently appointed as one of the Junior Board of Directors here in the state of Georgia and do everything I can to help others with Diabetes control their blood sugar and become more healthy.
