After leaving the great Jones Senior High, I went to East Carolina University for the next 3 years. I got married Sophomore year. After my Junior year, I realized that I NEVER wanted to use the degree I was earning (business) and actually dropped out of school. I spent 3 years "finding myself" and went back to East Carolina University in 1995. I earned my degree in Social Work in December 1997 when my oldest child was 4 months old. I have now been married for almost 18 years. I spent a few years working at Social Services in Jones County and paying my dues I guess you'd say. I am currently enjoying my job at Craven Regional Medical Center. We are raising 2 very active, smart, athletic children and are always on the go. Emily is a great soccer player and has attended Goalie Academy. She attends Brinson Memorial Elementary where she is in the Academically Gifted Program. Colin plays on 2 baseball teams (one local and one travel). He plays first base and pitches 55-60 mph at age 11 (left-handed). Colin also plays first offense and first defense for the Craven Jaguars Junior PeeWee football team. He attends HJ MacDonald Middle School and is also in the Academically Gifted Program.
