Wow! Since 1989, I've had a child, graduated from college and gotten married--not in the order that I had planned. (We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. --Proverbs 16:9)

I graduated with a degree in Sociology from the UNC-Charlotte and almost one year to the day after graduating I started working at the Jones County Department of Social Services. Almost 9 years have passed since then and I've worked my way up the Jones County DSS ladder into the department of Child Protective Services.

May will be 3 years in this "other world" called marriage...

And 16 years ago I fell in love with two men...my son, Nigel, and the Lord Jesus Christ...
