WELCOME

Sonnet: Life's Like A Train-journey by Dr. John Celes

Life's a train journey; God's the driver;
We're off to a place called Eternity;
Disembarking's left to each passenger;
From birth till death, We choose any city.

This train is safe to travel till the end;
We should not put our head and limbs outside;
No matter through tunnel or acute bend,
The journey's certainly a jolly ride.

The speed of the train is left for one to choose;
The conditions of travel's left to each;
'Tis left to each to sleep, watch, work or booze;
God's City is within anyone's reach.

The rail is safe; so is the engine too;
To reach God's place, depends only on you.

Welcome aboard OUR Hughes family web site!

If you are new to OUR family site please read this page since it will answer many of your questions on how to make a profile, create a password, and general use of the site.
To create a profile click on the
"Family Profiles" link, you will see a list of family names.

Click on YOUR name and follow the instructions to sign up!
You can add photos, videos and information on your profile. Decorate it any way you like, be creative! ;)

If your name has not been added to our list of "family profiles" please, email me through the link to the left "contact us". If you are a part of our family, then you should be on here! I will see that your name gets added.

This web-site was created for the sole purpose of keeping track of and in touch with our family. Everyone is busy these days and moving about that this will help by having each member responsible to update their own profile. This should help us all stay up to date with you most current information!

If we should ever plan a family reunion, this site will be a big help.

You may see surveys, polls, news alerts. Along the way you will see more links to more information, photos, even videos. Currently you should see a link titled "WE are FAMILY TREE". This is where you can see how we are related to one another. It is a work in progress so if you have any information, please share it with me. We NEVER want to forget the memories of our loved ones, so on IN Memory, you will see those family members who have "completed their journey"! This site will improve over time as more of YOU get on board and take an active part!

Our site is completely free. You will never be asked to pay to make a profile or to be able to access other family member’s profile. There are NO annoying "POP UP" ads and it is a very "family friendly" site too!

If you click "Remember Me" when you log in, you will not need to log in the next time you go to the site. You can just jump on and ride. Note: there is a password retrieval feature to click on: "Forgot Password?" in case you need to log in sometime and you just can NOT remember your password. Your password will then be sent to your email inbox. You can login from computers other than your home computer but you will need to enter your password and the e-mail address that you signed up with.....you can always edit that in the future.

You have the option of password protecting your personal profile too. This blocks the general public and other search engines from accessing your profile details! But once you create a profile, you will have access to all the family profiles and links that are password protected! You can leave messages, post comments on a profile and use our message forum on the link titled "WhatsUP".

When someone clicks on your name, all they will see of your contact information is your city and state and whatever information about yourself you choose to post. However, if you send a message to someone through your profile here, they will see your email address so that they can respond to you.

All contact information that you enter into this website will be kept confidential. It will NOT be shared by 3rd parties or distributed for solicitation. Your contact information is private: your address and phone number cannot be seen by the other family members unless you grant permission to do so on your profile.

Thank You- for coming along for this journey, now enjoy "the ride" -

Love- Jill  ;)
