Anna Kathleen (Annie) Church

I Worked at Matthew Bender Law Book Publishers for 23 yrs. and Albany Medical Center for 13 yrs. I retired in 2006. I taught EMT classes at RPI & HVCC and rode volunteer Ambulance for 19 yrs. I also Volunteer at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts doing stage dressing for their plays, and I have received several awards from the The Theater Assoc. of NYS. I volunteer at Williamstown Theater, Capital Repretory Theater and Russell Sage College.

It's been a busy year for me doing some acting at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts. I did a 1-act play (The Honeymooners) A Night at the Abbey, Sarah Plain & Tall and 'Inherit the Wind'.

I have traveled to Germany, and most of the US and will be going to Utah in September.

I am also a 10 year breast cancer survivor. How great is that.

I was elected to the Board Of directors for the Sand Lake Historical Society in May, and I am a member of the Sand Lake Garden Club And an avid Kayaker.

Well now I am a 11 year breast cancer survivor. YEA!

Traveled to Utah in Sept. Beautiful, lots of rocks. Don't know why anyone would want live there. Been busy working on plays at the Arts Center, as we are doing Almost, Maine, Fiddler on the Roof, and Great Expectations.

Otherwise just trying to keep warm. Brrrrrrr


I traveled to Oregon and Utah this year. Will be going to Winchester, Va. this week to a 150th Anniversary for the Civil War. We will do tours, see re-enactments and attend ancestry speeches. Then on to Harper's Ferry.

In October I will be spending six days in Florida for a mini vacation with my cousin in Longwood, near Orlando. Can't wait.

We have put together a reunion group of 12 ladies in our area and we get together for dinner each month at a different restaurant. We have been doing this since November 2013. We have a wonderful time telling stories and laughing a lot. We are the "REUNION CHICKS"

Well, I have been very busy at our Community Theater this year. I am now acting with a Matinee Theater Group. We do one-act plays at schools, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Also, I have just finished dressing the stage for our production of Peter Pan, opening on March 20th. It will be a sellout.

it's been a long winter. Can't wait for Spring.

Traveled to the Badlands of South Dakota and just returned from a two week trip to Alaska and Vancouver, British Columbia. Alaska is beautiful! We were lucky enough to see Mt. Dinali while in Dinali Park. Spent five days on land, then sailed south on a seven day cruise to Vancouver.

Still meeting every month with our reunion group. We have been getting together two and a half years.
