Born in November 1949, Linda Watson Renehan grew up in Wynantskill. She went to Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Plattsburgh, where she earned a teaching degree and came back to teach in the Troy school system. She died of cancer in 2003. Here is her obituary:

EAST GREENBUSH Linda Watson Renehan, 53, of East Greenbush, died Tuesday at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, she was the wife of James F. Renehan and daughter of Margaret Hug Watson and the late Russell Watson Sr. Mrs. Renehan was educated in the Troy Public School system, was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and received her masters in education degree from SUNY Albany. She was employed for the last 20 years as a third grade teacher at School #12 in Troy, and was a member of the New York United Teachers. Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include a daughter, Tracey Renehan; a son, Scott Renehan, both of East Greenbush; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was the sister of the late Russell Watson Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. from the John H. Clinton Funeral Home, Washington Park and Third St., Troy and at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Church, Troy. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the John H.
