"Dear Troy High '68 classmates. It is with great sorrrow that I report the loss of another of our friends from our graduating class. John (Jack) Holstein, who after getting a B.S. Degree in 1972 from SUNY Binghamton, came home and spent his adult working life as am employee of R.P.I. He was laid to rest on Monday, October 3rd. (Apologies for not posting this in time for folks to possibly attend.)

So sorry to hear this. Jack and I were good friends, he lived close by on South Lake Ave and I was on Rankin Ave. Like everyone else we lost touch after HS, but always remember Jack as a real nice guy. RIP mate!
