Wow,
Lots has happened since school. Some good and some, well interesting.
I attended the UofA and Pima early to mid eighties. Moved to California in 1988 and pursued a career in film and tv. Nothing too outrageous, but I did get to work a little bit. I lived in Ventura Ca. and had the wonderful opportunity to live on the waters edge for over 10 years. During that time, I went back to school for commercial photography and started shooting professionally since 1992. It has been interesting. Self employment, as we all know has it's rocky moments, and I definitely felt the roller coaster ride. After the twenty year reunion, which was a blast btw, I attended a small culinary school. I always loved to cook, and wanted to learn more. I worked as a personal chef for a short while, but I am still shooting photography. I spend a lot of my time now playing music. I have been a drummer for a long time, and really enjoy it. Last year, in Los Angeles, I got the opportunity to play at a festival of over 10,000 people. I am basically a shy person so this was a big step for me and a lot of fun.
I hope the all the class of 80' is doing well, and I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Lots of school memories.
I used to hang out a lot with Mike Craft. He was the one that had the blue baja bug that they stuffed about 30 students into on the football field during one assembly. We spent a lot of time sneaking off campus in that baja during lunch, or breaks. Doing some off-roading, once in a while getting stuck in the Rillito River or the Canada Del Oro, and not making it back to class in time. I think we did most of our homework off campus.
If you had Mr. Cortez, then you must remember his 'essay tests'. Everyone would write their paper at home the night before, and then the next day during the test, slip out the finished essay from their book when Mr.Cortez would turn his back. Do you think he knew? Ha Ha
Or what about Mrs. Roten's Humanities class. I loved her class and the way she taught. Very passionate about her teaching. Very committed..in fact I think she might have been at one time..lol Seriously, a good teacher. Watching her students disappear when she turned her back was funny. People would sometimes slip out the door when she wasn't looking. Me included once in a while. :)
