I was a teacher and a principal from 1999-2008 at Thomas J Pappas Elementary which was the largest homeless school in the United States. In 2008 when my school closed I opened up a charter school serving the same students until 2012 when I left and went to Sojourner Center a domestic violence shelter in Phoenix as a Development Director for 2 years and Children and Youth Program Manager for 2 years. In 2014, I married my soulmate in Yellowstone Park. 2017 I opened up another school as a principal and now serve as the districts Director of District Projects and Resource Development for our Elementary School serving 100% Title 1 Students, our High School Serving disconnected youth and our Juvenile Detention Center. My husband and I live in Gilbert and enjoy spending time together traveling and listening to music.
