Well after graduatioin, stayed in Tucson for next semister of school in order for Della to graduate, then moved to Las Vegas until Mark my son was to start school. Then moved to Carpinteria, Ca. where Della and I bought our first plumbing contracting business. We worked it and two other plumbing businesses for the next 14 years. Then sold out in sunny California, moved to Flagstaff, Az. in Kachina Village. Lived there for three winters, till I remembered what my daddy taught me, "son if your going to be a plumber, NEVER live where it snows"! Sooooooo I then traded our home in Kachina for a nice home in Tempe, Az. We started a new plumbing business in Tempe called DelTone Plumbing. Worked it for five years, sold it, moved back to Ventura, Ca. Started up Lott and Son Plumbing, till the BIG crash in 6/90..motorcycle crash that is. Sold out in Cal. one more time and relocated to Phoenix, got devorced and eventually ended up back in Tucson, once again! Must be something in the water here???? I'm now retired on Soc. Sec. Disability. but I'm NO SNOW BIRD!

OK ok we all know the song "smok'in the boys room" was truely inspired and written about FWHS! However that was in the good ole daze! Now you can get ejected from a football game for even having smokes in possesion! OMG!
A very favorite story of mine, is about two very dear staff/teachers of mine. Pat Miles being my counciler, and Len Skrobel being all of our senior history teacher. Now we all know these two had great affection for eachother. I always loved how these two teamed up to make things better for us the students! How many of you remember the field trip to the Grand Canyon, or Mr. Hamills field trip though Prescott and the Monument Valley? Well for you of who do have found memories of these school trips, you can thank these three great teachers for providing you with these memorable moments! Just think about it, you never hear of the students of today getting trips such as these in thier education! Speaking of the good ole days, when's the last time you went to a football game, or a wrestling match at FWHS? Well let me tell you things sure have changed! Remember the school spirit, the spectator attendance? Remember FWHS taking state championship in wrestling 8 years in a row? And nobody questioned who the power house was in football! FWHS sports programs have become a sad state of affairs, due mostly to poor partisapation. This has inspired me to assist in coaching of the wrestling team starting next season........any other volunteers?
