After graduating from UA, I stumbled into the TV news biz, where I stayed for 34 years, mostly anchoring the evening news at the NBC station in Tucson. Two years ago I ran for Congress, but lost in the primary. Since leaving Tucson, my husband and I have lived in Madison, Wisconsin and then Hershey, Pennsylvania, and on Christmas Day 2015 we moved to downtown Seattle. The best!

How could I forget Cyndy's intellect and bitingly-wonderful humor. She was a talented teen who grew up to be a truly appreciated member of our community. She leaves a lasting legacy.

Diane was a friend since elementary school and our many years growing up in Indian Ridge. It wasn't until adulthood, however, that she disclosed to me the difficult life she'd had. I am so sad to hear of her death.
