Brian Seff

I left Tucson after my sophomore year for California, graduated from Redlands High, then one year of college before moving up to San Francisco. Beat the draft, thanks to of all things, my acne, probably the only time I was ever glad to have zits.
I started working as a singer/comic, first with a partner in an act called Rick & Ruby. We did national tours opening up for name acts, as well as several national TV appearances. We were together from 1971-85. I started a solo career shortly after, under the name of Rick Right, which continues to this day. I'm proud to have met and worked with many of today's and yesterday's comedy superstars.
Lived in San Francisco in the 70's, LA thru the 80's and 90's, and moved to England in 2003, after working there two years and meeting wife number three. I was married from 1978-80 and 1990-99. But oops, marriage number three just crumbled in February after four years plus change, but it hasn't sent me back to the US with my tail between my legs.

I guess it's still funny to me, though few thought so at the time, when I wore a blue and gold too-small-for-me Cub Scout uniform one Friday to show my school spirit. "How dare you make a mockery of school spirit?" was the general vibe I got before being sent home. It got people talking though.
