Survived by wife, Kathy; mother, Dorothy; brother, Robert; stepson, Justin and several close cousins. Finley, William 59, of Tempe passed away on 06/13/09. Born in Ca. 1950 to the late Benny and Dorothy (Zimmerman) Finley. The family moved to Tucson. Bill graduated from Palo Verde HS in 1968, served in the US Army and worked for the Southern Pacific RR until his retirement.

I remember Bill through the years at PV. He was a good classmate in school. Great pesonality with people that he was with. I had some classes with him, during our breaks between classes would talk with him. Also Freshman Track. I didn't really hang out with him outside of school but He is another friend that will be missed.Dan Johnson '68

Had Bill in a class, and he treated me regal, something that was lacking when I transferred to P.V. because we were all young and naived while growing up. I will pray for him. John.J. Weger
Bill was a great friend to me - we smoked our first dope together (with Mike Shafer) and listened to all the great music of those times, saw all the bands. He made me laugh.
