After graduating from high school, I attended California Lutheran College (now Cal Lutheran University) in Thousand Oaks, CA for my freshman year of college. I transferred back to the University of Arizona for my sophomore year and graduated with a BA in Anthropology and English in 1983. I then worked in the University of Arizona Main Library from October 1983, and later earned a Masters of Library Science degree in 1987. Immediately upon graduation, I moved to Tempe, AZ and started work as an acquisitions librarian at Arizona State University. I have been with the ASU Libraries ever since, working in a variety of positions.

With family still in Tucson, I visit frequently, but unfortunately have other obligations on October 3.
