The great thing about this handy dandy website is that we can communicate with each other. So tell me... what was the best thing about growing up in Tulia?

I don't have one bad memory about Tulia or the schools there.  I feel so blessed for having gone to Jr. High and High School in such a friendly town.  Moving there at the beginning of my 7th grade year I was quite scared on the first day of school, even to the point of being sick to my stomach.  So many sweet friends showed me around and introduced me to people.  Everyone was very nice and in one day I made so many new friends it was like I had been there for years.  High school was fun!  All the band trips, activities, classes, proms, etc.  I could not have asked for a better place to have those last 6 years of school.  God bless each and every one of my class mates from the class of 1971.

I moved to Tulia in the 6th grade and was scared too, Vicki!  I remember getting lost on the first day and returning to my classroom and there was no one there!  I finally found my class but it was very humiliating.  I will never forget walking in that first day!!  I, too, have great memories(what I can remember!) of my high school days in Tulia.  Wouldn't want to go back there but I loved it then!
