When I reflect about growing up in Tulia, the emotion that arises is gratitude. It was a perfect town to grow up in. Tulia was full of kind, Godly people with solid values.

I remember Tulia ISD being full of super teachers. I never had a bad one. The only limitations I had were self inflicted. Even then, I wasn't allowed to fail! Mr. Gatewood, Mr. Greer, Mr. Patton, Coach Bryant, and Mr. Riley made sure that I learned something, mostly from the bottom up! Teachers like Ann Shelton, Bud Roberts, Mrs. Simmons, Coach and Mrs. Payne, to name a few, were very impactful on my eduacation! When I moved on to WT I was prepared. I am indebted to all of them.
