Tulia, TX - James Henry “Jimmy” Bice, 60, died on July 3, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 7, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Tulia, Texas with James Sain, retired pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A family visitation will be held from 7:00 to 7:30 Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Jimmy Bice was born February 24, 1954. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1972. He married Sheila Sain on January 10, 1987 in Tulia. He owned and operated Bice & Sons Services which started by his father in 1960. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tulia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Laura Carolyn Bice; and two brothers, Louis Bice and Larry Bice.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Bice; 2 daughters, Kristy and her husband, Ronnie Mote and Lori Bice and her fiancé Teddy Culwell all of Tulia; 1 brother, Johnny Bice of Odessa, TX; 1 sister, Lynda Robinson of Red Oak, TX and 3 grandchildren, Laura and Sheyenne Mote and Creed Marshall Bice.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Jimmy Bice Love Fund at Citizens Bank in Tulia.
