I have had a wonderful life since my days at Booker T. Washington high school. Immediately after high school I went to one of the finest HBCU's that I hold near to my heart Langston University. During my matriculation at Langston I joined a wonderful group of ladies with a committment to service to all mankind, The Alpha Zeta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., from which I began my lifelong commitment to serving my community. After graduating I received a Bachelors Degree in Science with focus on Nursing. I have moved around a quite a bit since then as a Traveling Nurse but had to come back home where my heart was (I guess). I am currently embarking on a new journey here in lovely T-town providing prevention, education, testing, and counseling for HIV/AIDS through AmeriCorps. This commitment to service has been unlike anything I have ever encountered in my life. HIV/AIDS is a very real epidemic and it does exist even in Tulsa please know your status!!! I have lots of goals and plans for they all begin and end with keeping God first and foremost in my life. I know without God none of the success I have had would of have been possible nor would the hope for prosperity in my future.
