Bonnie Olive Stone

Graduated Oklahoma Baptist University, 1983; married September 1984; earned elementary education certification in 1990; National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification in 2002; Master's Degree in Reading from Northeastern State University in 2005; teacher in Tulsa Public Schools for 18 years; finalist for Teacher of the Year, 2009; currently teaching 4th grade at Mitchell Elementary.

Avid scuba diver for 23 years (the entire family dives!) and novice photographer, as well as a softball mom (both girls played). Younger daughter plays JV softball for B.A. and just finished her 9th grade season in basketball. Older daughter is a sophomore at University of Tulsa. Her first novel is "in production" with an expected release date of December, 2009.

OK. After looking at my yearbooks, I have come to realize WHY I can't remember any stories. It appears that I had MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER!!! Here are some of the names you goobers called me... Bon-Bon, Bonce, Boney, Bones, BO, Bunny, Bunny-Babee, Bun-Bun, Buns, Bun, Barney, Olive Oyl, Popeye, Swee-Pea, (thank goodness, no one called me Bluto!!!), Oily-Goily, Bonnie Boo, Bunny Boo, BODMD (whaaaat?!), Bunny Hop, Bubbles...

Now, I realize that I am in a relative state of "brain fog" these days (combination of my current age and the four count 'em - FOUR-- surgeries I have had this year,) but how can I explain my yearbook to my children and grandchildren???? LOL. I'm a goober, too!
