He does posed pics and party pics as well as a dvd of the event. He doesn't charge anything unless you want to buy pics or the video. I work with several "older" EC grads who used him at their reunions and really liked his work. Just a thought... Also, I heard that a lot of classes are doing things like karaoke, made up game shows and various other goofy things on reunion "party night". TTFN, Christina (e)

05/15/09 11:54 AM #415     Sue Young (Myers) CALLING ALL CARDS... :) We have been weighing the pros and cons of going through the arduous process of trying to track down addresses of those who have not found their way to this site. Doing that for the 10 year reunion was a monumental task, and it seems that most of us have even less free time now then we did 10 years ago. So instead we are appealing to those already signed on here...if you know anyone who graduated with us that might be interested in information about the reunion, but has NOT signed on here yet, please encourage them to do so. We will post all reunion information on this site, and on Facebook. We are hoping to spread the word via cyberspace and reach as many of our alum as we can in that fashion. If there is someone out there that has the time to devote to making phone calls and gathering info and WANTS to take on that task, please let us know and we can pass on the directory we built for the 10 year. Thanks!

Some of it will be a repeat of what I already said, but she said it better. :) The venue we are looking at for Saturday night will be at the Stokely Event Center. 10111 East 45th Place Tulsa, OK 74146 www.stokelyeventcenter.com Ticket prices for the reunion will be $50 per individual or $90 per couple. We are looking at October 17th as the tentative date. Tentative because we need to collect enough money to put down a deposit before we can confirm the venue. Several of us have already made payments to the account for the deposit and we are very close... So please help us in confirming this date, as we all know time is running out and we really don't want to have the reunion later than this date! :) We have considered other venue locations but, due to high deposit requirements, limited dates, and other requirements we think the Stokely Event Center is our best option. We will work on getting a block of hotel rooms close by and other reunion information soon as they are available. Trying to do this for the10 year reunion was said to be a monumental task. So instead we are asking all of you that are signed on here to help spread the word. If you know anyone who graduated with us or should have graduated with us that might be interested in attending the reunion please encourage them to sign up here or on our other websites. We are inviting everyone that we all grew up with and maybe went to EC Freshman-Junior year and had to move away... :( You are considered a Cardinal...Class of 1989!! :) We will be posting all reunion information on all the sites. I know that I have rec'd another email (which I will contact tonight) who said they might be able to help as well. let me know...My daughter graduates tomorrow but I can log on and pay for 2 extra tickets.

As soon as everything clears the bank I will go talk to the guy at Stokely and book the venue. Once it is confirmed, I will post with the CONFIRMED date of the Saturday night event. Things are moving along!

Ok so how many of you will admit going to Skate World and stating to PYT, Rock with you, Don't stop till you get enough and all of the other great songs he had!? We lost two great icons today - MJ and Farrah Fawcet! Very sad day for us Gen X'ers!

This is the absolute drop dead date to ensure headcount and catering, etc. Ticket prices for the entire weekend of events is $50 per person and $90 per couple. 08/31/09 12:48 PM #428     Sue Young (Myers) Hmmm, where is everyone? I just wonder why no one ever wants to chat but me??? What are your thoughts about the reunion? Want to come, don't want to come, reasons??? I have discovered that the older I get the more introverted I become. Yes, to the people who know me well, go ahead and laugh. But really, other than my little "circle" I don't branch out much. But I LOVE to plan...so that's probably the biggest reason I got involved in planning the reunion. I love party planning! But as for being "in charge" or having to talk to everyone in person, I'm a little nervous. Yes, we're older and no, we don't need to impress anyone. But that 18 year old kid in me is still wondering, will anyone remember me? And if so, is it a GOOD memory or BAD!?? Through Facebook and on here I feel like I know so many more of you than I actually really did in high school, but hopefully that's a good thing. Ok, that's my philosophizing for the day...chime in and let me know your thoughts.

Here lately, I have been running into people that know me and they have to tell me several things before I can remember anything about them. I feel so terrible. It seems as though I remember my elementary friends more than anyone from high school. Very strange...Anyway, so I am anxious about talking to people at the reunion also, but I am excited to see everyone.

09/02/09 04:19 PM #431     Sue Young (Myers) me again...anyone out there?? Seems like we've been planning for this reunion for a year now. Oh wait, we HAVE! And now it's on the horizon. I really hope that people will come. Forget who was friends with who, what clique did what, etc. One of the people I'm closest to now is someone I probably didn't say 3 sentences to in high school, but thru the planning process have really gotten to know. I like to think I've grown up, at least a little bit. I want to hope I'm not that same silly, naive, judgemental, loud mouthed person I once was. (Ok, maybe a LITTLE loud still...). My point is, if any has reservations about the reunion b/c of past grievances, issues, insecurities, I hope that you will take this opportunity to see things from a new perspective. As humans we all have some insecurities, but know that whatever you worry about for yourself, chances are there are 10 more of us thinking the same thing! Come out, have some fun, relive old times or create new ones. Yep, I'm just about to break out the pom poms and start a wave...who's with me???

The kids really want to stay in TN for another day. They dont quite get the whole high school reunion thing and they only see their grandparents,(Larry's parents) once a year. Also their cousins. So hopefully we can still have a brunch on Sunday.

I hope not, b/c I'm hoping for a good turnout. If nothing else, I have made some great friends through the process, and re-established some old relationships. That was really something I wasn't expecting.
