Attended Stephens College for two years after graduating from Edison. Graduated from Oklahoma State. Moved to Dallas and taught school for six years. Married and moved to San Antonio where husband was station at Brooke Army Medical Hospital. Moved from there to Temple, Texas when husband went to work for Scott and White. John has retired from Scott and White but works part time at the VA Hospital in Temple. Eric Scott, and Julia are attorneys, Rick being the only physician. Our son Eric lives in Temple, Scott and Rick live in Washington DC, Julie lives in Houston, and daughter, Kristin, who has Down Syndrome, currently lives at home. We have five grandchildren. four granddaughters and one grandson.
