Comments:
I went to Oklahoma State along with Cole. We got married August 1, 1992. I finished my B.S. in Education in December of 1994 and Cole finished his B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering in May of 1995. Our first child Hunter was born the following August. We lived in Tulsa while he worked for Flight Safety in Broken Arrow. Cole decided he wanted to go to graduate school so we moved back to Stillwater. While there our next three children were born, Sam, Elizabeth, and Rachel. Cole finished his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and completed most of his coursework towards a PhD but decided in the fall of 2000 that he was ready to move on. He went to work for Lockheed-Martin in Fort Worth so we moved to Aledo, TX and have been there ever since. Once settled I took a teaching job with Aledo ISD. In 2003, Cole took a job with The MathWorks, a software company based in Natick, Massachusetts. He is a remote employee and works from our home office and travels frequently. It is nice because when he is home, he is home, and we try to take advantages of the travel persk. Our kids are now going into 8th, 6th, 5th, and 3rd grades and keep us VERY busy! Our oldest, Hunter, is in band (trombone) and enjoys playing soccer. Sam plays football, basketball, and baseball (the year-round athlete!) and is also active in theater. Elizabeth plays volleyball and now has new interest in tennis. Rachel is our youngest and loves to cheer. This next year will be her first year in competitive cheerleading. I think I have officially lost my mind! Between the kids activities and work, Cole and I enjoy going out for dinner and a movie or traveling when we get the chance. Cole helps out coaching the kids sports. I teach 7th grade Language Arts and Science (I know, weird combination) and I also am the cheerleading sponsor. I look forward to seeing everyone next summer at the reunion!
