This is an experiment to see if people are interested in posting favorite recipes.
Kid bruschetta
- french garlic loaf
- spaghetti sauce
- shredded cheese
Slice bread into 1/2 inch pieces. Place on a cookie sheet. Top with spaghetti sauce and cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes until cheese melts.

Easy chicken pot pie
- 2 deep pie crusts
- 1 can of chicken
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can of cream of potato soup
- 1 can of cream of celery soup
- 1 can of mixed vegetables
Put all of the canned ingredients into a pie shell. Top with the remaining pie crust. Cut slits. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 45 minutes until crust is golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.

Easy chicken bruschetta
- 3 - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 box of stove top stuffing for chicken
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes, undrained (we use rotel cause we like it spicy)
- 1 tsp of basil, optional
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese (we've used several different cheeses - whatever we had on hand)
- 1 clove of garlic, minced, optional (or cheat and use a tablespooon of minced garlic from a jar)
Combine stuffing with tomatoes, 1/2 cup water and garlic. Mix until moistened.
Place chicken in a greased baking dish. Cover chicken with basil and cheese. Dump stuffing mixture evenly over chicken. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees uncovered.

Mashed - Baked Potatoes
- Russet potatoes
- Butter
- Milk
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Toppings
- Sour Cream
- Shredded Cheese
- Bacon Bits
- Chives
Peel and boil potatoes. Drain once tender. Mix with milk, butter,salt and pepper. Serve up mashed potatoes on plate. Put goodies out where everyone can make their own creations. Serve with little smokies for a quick meal.

Smoked salmon spread
- 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 1-2 green onions (white part & 3 " of green) thinly sliced
- 4 oz smoked salmon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Mix cream cheese, onions and lemon juice. Gently fold in smoked salmon. Serve with crackers or on party rye bread.

Grape Salad
2 1/2 pounds red seedless grapes
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
walnuts (chopped for topping)
1. Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar in a large bowl.
2. Fold in grapes and transfer mixture to serving bowl.
3. Cover with brown sugar and sprinkle with walnuts and refrigerate until chilled.
Sounds wierd, but it is really good!

Mexican Chicken
1 chicken, cooked and deboned
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel, your choice on the heat index
1 bag (2cup size) shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag Doritoes (not family size)
Cook and debone chicken. Mix with remaining ingredients using only half of the cheese and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with remaining cheese, cook for about 5 mins to melt. Serve with additional Doritoes, Tostitoes or chips of choice. I like to make extra as this freezes really well.

* I put olive oil about 1/3 way in pan and continually flip as I deep fry and then place on paper towel to remove excess oil.

Tortilla Soup
Lightly spray non-stick spray over 9x13 baking dish. Take crescent rolls, unroll and press down inside baking dish (completely cover bottom of dish). Fry sausage/bacon and cut up in pieces, drain and spread over crescent rolls. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat. Whip 4 eggs with ¾ cup milk, add salt & pepper. Spread egg mixture over meat & cheese. Sprinkle more cheese over this and bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.

Tulsa Public School Cinnamon Rolls
Dough:
1 pkg. yeast
3/8 cup sugar
11/2 cups water
3/8 cup shortening, melted
1 egg, beaten
5 cups flour
6 Tbsp. powdered milk
1 tsp. salt
1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Add melted shortening and beaten egg. Add flour, powdered milk and salt; mix thoroughly. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double. Punch down dough and roll out to 11/4-inch thickness. Brush with butter.
Cinnamon mix:
1 cup brown sugar
11/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar
1. Combine ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle cinnamon mix onto dough and roll up lengthwise. Cut into 12 21/2-inch rolls. Place on greased tray; let rise until double. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Glaze:
1/2 box powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
Enough water or milk to make spreading easy
Brush onto rolls after they come out of the oven.
BEAN CHOWDER
12 servings or about 3 quarts
1 lb. or 21/2 cups pinto beans
1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. salt
1 lb. beef, coarsely ground
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic
1 Tbsp. chili powder
12/3 cups tomato puree
11/2 tsp. salt
1 cup bread crumbs (dry)
1. Cook beans in 3 quarts of water or more depending on dryness of beans. When beans are nearly done, add chili powder and salt.
2. While beans are cooking, combine meat, onions, and garlic; brown in skillet on top of stove or brown in 350-degree oven, stirring frequently until done. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Combine meat mixture and beans. If needed, add more water for desired thickness or more chili powder for desired seasoning.

Fudge Crinkles
1 Package Betty Crocker SuperMoist Devils food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
powdered sugar
1. Heat oven to 350F. Stir dry cake mix, swirl mix, oil and eggs in large bowl using spoon until dough forms.
2. Dust hands with powdered sugar. shape dough into 1 inch balls. Coat balls with powdered sugar; place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 10 minutes until set. Cool completely about 30 minutes (store tightly covered).
For added christmas cheer - coat with melted white chocolate or almond bark. Roll in crushed up candy canes.

Easy Chinese Cabbage Salad
1 head nappa cabbage
5 green onions chopped
2 packages of Ramen Noodles crushed
1 stick butter
3/4 cup sliced pecans
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup sugar.
Brown lightly Ramen noodles, pecans & sunflower seeds. Cool. Wash & cut cabbage - really fine. Mix oil, vinegar and sugar. 20 minutes before serving pour dressing over cabbage and green onions. Add all together and toss.

Easy Fruit Pie
8 large stawberries
1 banana
1 can crushed pineapple
1 graham cracker pie crust
1 regular cool whip
2 blocks of Cream Cheese
use 3/4 bag of confectioner's sugar
Mix together confectioner's sugar and cream cheese n
until mix is smooth, place mix in crust, spread pineapple on mix, slice strawberries and bananas, place on top. Spread cool whip and
top with nuts or cherries if you like.

Pasta Alfredo
1 package of uncooked pasta (16 ounces)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons all purpouse flour
2 cups (8 ounces) Fresh parmesan cheese
salt and ground white pepper to tast.
Cook past, drain and keep warm
combine cream and milk heat over medium heat until warm (DO NOT BOIL). Remove from heat, set aside
melt butter in saucepan, whisk flour into butter until smooth, add cream mixture all at once to flour mixture whisking constantly until it comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer over low heat 5 minutes or until thickens (constantly stir)
remove from heat, add cheese, salt and pepper, whisk until smooth. Toss with pasta and serve immediately.
Can add grilled or breaded shrimp or chicken if you like.

Tator Tot Casserole
Hamburger cooked with 1 diced onion, add1 can Rotel ( as spicy as you like) and 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup.
place in casserold dish, cover with Shredded cheese and top with Tator Tots
Cook until Tots are done according to package.

Broccoli Cheese Casserole
1 bag chopped frozen broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups minute rice (cooked)
1-2 8oz jars cheese whiz
1 stick butter and 1 diced onion (cook together)
Mix together and bake at 350 for approx 20 minutes to melt the cheese.
Grands! Pepperoni Pizza Bake
INGREDIENTS
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Homestyle refrigerated original biscuits (or other "Jumbo" biscuits)
1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce
2 cups finely shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
16 slices pepperoni (1 1/2 inch) or other topping
DIRECTIONS
1. CUT each biscuit into 8 pieces; toss with pizza sauce and 1 cup of the cheese.
2. SPREAD in sprayed 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish. Top with pepperoni or other topping and remaining 1 cup cheese.
3. BAKE at 375°F 22 to 28 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Mrs. Renfro's Mexican Fudge (from the side of the Mrs. Renfro's Green Chili Salsa Jar)
This one always flies of the plate at parties:
Spread 1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese on a 9x11 or 7x11 baking dish.
Combine 3 well beaten eggs and 1/4 jar of Mrs. Renfro's Green Salsa (4 oz.) and spread on cheese.
Spread 1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese on top.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 30 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Cut into 1" squares.
Serve on tortilla chips.
Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken
Ingredients
Brown Sugar, 4 tsp unpacked
Chicken Breast, no skin, 12 ounces
Garlic, 1 clove
Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
Salt, 1 tsp
Pepper, black, 1 dash
Directions
This makes four servings, 3 oz per person
1. Melt the butter in a frying pan
2. Brown the garlic in the butter
3. Add chicken breasts to garlic and butter and cook thoroughly, adding salt and pepper as you like it.
4. When chicken is fully cooked add brown sugar on top of each breast
5. Allow the brown sugar to melt into the chicken (about 5 minutes)
6. Serve with your favorite carb, and veggie or salad. We usually have rice or noodles and carrots or green beans.
Number of Servings: 4
Baked Pork Chops and Rice
Ingredients
1 lb. boneless pork chops
3/4 c. uncooked long grain white rice
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 onion, sliced
1 1/2 c. water, boiling
2 t. low sodium chicken bouillon granules
1 t. italian seasoning blend
dash salt
1 T. olive oil
Directions
Spray an 8x8 pan with cooking spray. Put rice in bottom of pan with celery. Put slice onion on top of rice.
Brown pork chops in olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place pork chops on top of onions.
Mix bouillon, seasoning, and salt into boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Pour water over pork chops.
Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour, or until rice is done and pork chops are tender.
Number of Servings: 4
Rotel Sausage Pasta
Ingredients
* Pasta, cooked, 8 oz
* Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chillies Mild, 10 oz
* Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped
* Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 4 oz
* Louis Rich Turkey Smoked Sausage, 4

Directions
Prepare past according to package directions. Shred mozzarella. Dice onion and smoked sausage. Cook in a skillet over medium until onions are translucent and sausage is slightly browned.
Mix with remaining ingredients and serve.
Number of Servings: 4
Liam's Favorite Candied Carrots
Add the following to a microwavable casserole and cook as instructed on the side of the can:
1 can sliced carrots
1 Tbsp of butter or margarine
1 Tbsp of brown sugar (unpacked)

You all can relax. I have the recipe for Orange Biscuits.
1 can of biscuits (10 in can)
10 pieces cube sugar
1/3 cup orange juice
2 T. melted butter or margarine
1. Turn oven to 450 F
2. Press each biscuit in center with thumb and fingers and stretch to 2-1/2 inch circle, leaving 1/2 inch rim around edge.
3. Place on baking sheet or in pan.
4. Brush with butter or margarine.
5. Fill each center with 1 teaspoon orange juice and 1 lump of sugar.
6. Bake 12 minutes.

Hearty Spaghetti Stew
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
5 cups of water
1 28 oz. can tomatoes
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen whole kernal corn, partially thawed
1 9 oz. pkg. frozen cut green beans, partially thawed
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. Kraft Tangy Italian Style Spaghetti Dinner
In a Dutch oven, brown meat and drain. Stir in water, vegetables, tomato sauce and the Herb Spice mix. Break spaghetti into thirds; add to vegetable mixture. Bring to boil. Cover, simmer 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the Grated Parmesan Cheese.

Items you will need
1 cup pecans
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 block of philadelphia cream cheese
1 cup of flour
1 stick of butter
2 boxes of chocolate instant pudding
2 bowls of cool whip
Mix one bowl of cool whip, butter, flour,Pudding and pecans. spread it in a baking pan, put in oven on 375 for about 15 min...
Take it out, let it cool for fifteen min...
Mix seperately powdered sugar, creme cheese, and second tub of coolwhip.. layer it over the dessert you took out of the oven.. you can sprinke some pecans over the top for looks.... THIS IS DELICIOUS....IF YOUR TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT DONT MAKE IT....

Fry one package of ground beef, drain grease
add one can of whole corn, one can diced tomatoes and one small can of tomatoe paste.
one cup of frozen okra 1 and half teaspoons of butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Bake at 350 for about 30 min. sprinkle with sheredded cheese and serve with buttered bread, corn bread or rolls.
Smothered Steak or Roast....
Cut up a bell pepper and onion in the frying pan. flour meat on both sides fry.. Pour oil out.. replace meat pour in one and half cups to two cups of water. simmer on med. heat for about an hour. turn down to low for another hour.. Mix one table spoon of flour for roast in a glass of cold water.. Two tablespoons of flour if your preparing steak.. Mix well, pour into skillet. simmer until thick.. Serve...
Turkey and gravy over Texas toast
Mix one box of onion brown gravy mix soup in a skillet. add a slice of turkey..let simmer ten to fifteen minutes on med heat.. You can add frozen peas to turkey and gravy Pour over buttered Texas toast and serve... quick and easy....
Quick Grout Chili
Fry ground beef and sausage together(blue and gold is the best). Drain grease add one pack of alarm chili(red and yellow pack) Put everything in the pack in the pot. Add one large can of diced tomatoes, one bottle of chili sauce.. you may chose to add 1 or two cans of pork n beans or a small package of pinto beans. let simmer for about forty minutes and serve with cornbread...
We all know whats for dinner if your husband makes you mad... FISH STICKS AND FRIES........O YEA AND APPLESAUCE...
