Steph and I had a really good time last night catching up with many of you who were in attendance unfortunately there wasnt enough time to adequately chat with everyone we could probably have stayed there talking into the wee hours of the morning. Im going to echo Joyce in saying that those of us that live near by one another should not wait for a reunion to bring us together.

Is anyone else having that anticlimactic, day after Christmas, blah feeling now that the reunion has come and gone, or is it just me?

Cristy Smith (Collum)

No, it's me too! Last night was an absolute blast. Thank you to everyone for your hard work. I'd love to help with the planning for the next one!

It was great to see everyone. It amazes me that friendships formed so long ago and some newly renewed are still as vibrant and caring as they were so long ago. It was worth all the long hours to see you all enjoying youselves with each other again.

I hope everyone heading back home far away or merely returning to their lives here can keep up the momentum and find the rest of our missing classmates. It would be nice to report next year that we know where each of us have been taken along life's journey.

We truly were and are the Golden class. We have a microsociety in our ranks and are a formidable force in all we do. More importantly we leave behind a legacy of touching the larger society in a positive way in all we do.

Thanks to everyone who helped out or even just showed up. You all are part of why the reunion was a huge success.

I will echo all of the comments about this weekend! It was great to be back together with the old gang, and to see each and everyone of you! We do have to do this sooner, and more often. Thank you to everyone that helped plan all of this, and sign me up to help for the next one.

It was great to see everyone again and thanks for the warm welcome back!

The old crew hadn't changed much, we were out past 3:00am both nights and I'm in definite need of some sleep now. Crazy..crazy...crazy!

Thanks for the great time and best of luck to you all....!!!

WOW! What a weekend!!! I've been blown away by the events of the past few days! What a true testiment to our class to have packed Carl's, filled a complete section of bleachers at the game & had so many show up at Freddies. As many others have said, we are the Golden Class. It shows. Ricky even had a great time & was impressed with the way we all have come together after all this time.

To all of those who weren't able to be there- we missed you! If you get a chance to come this way, let us know & we'll plan a 'mini-reunion'! :0)

Ditto to what everyone else has said. William had fun as well and Jacqui reports that John did too. The weekend passed so quickly and now I'm sad it's over. We need to be diligent in staying together. Maybe monthly gatherings, bunco, dinners, etc. Anything to keep it going.

How about a monthly survey/contest to keep discovering our classmates. Since we only have a few more days in Oct. let's make it a costume contest. Post your or your kids Halloween costume pictures and I'll post a survey for voting.

Great idea Rayanne. Should they upload their pictures and then maybe send you an email. Then we can maybe post them on the home page????

Hello everyone - WOW! Are we tired. We had so much fun. Thank you to everyone for everything. I can't believe it's over.

We finally got home about 8:30 last night. Our flight was delayed a few times. We were supposed to land at 4:37. Apparently the wind in Chicago was so bad that they closed all but 2 of the runways. What a shock it was after spending the day in the 70's to come home to 39 degrees with 40 mph winds.(Yes, Tommy, I know, but really, Chicago is The Windy City for the politicians.) Nikolas even had snow flurries at his baseball game too.

I agree with everything everyone has been saying. For those of you that are close enough (geographically) to get together, you should!!!! And then post all about it for those of us that have to live vicariously through you.

Dieter and I have decided that we'll have to make a Tulsa trip every year. Hopefully we can coordinate with some other out of towners. Pam and Kelly are already on board. Anyone else???

Miss you guys!! And LOVE YOU ALL TOO!!

Hey guys, are you going to post the results of the awards? If there was one for who's changed the most, I'm bettin' Sean Berryhill won that one hands down. HAHA

Lori Cameron (Prim)

Karen - You're right. Sean did win.

Watching the news - the top wind yesterday in Chicago was 61 mph. WOW!

I had the time of my life. I got to know some of you that I never knew before. I cannot stop smiling. If you were not a part of this weekend you were so missed. I hope to stay in touch.

Cherri - I snagged yours. If everyone upload pictures and let me know, I'll get them and make a new slideshow. Or you can email them to me and I'll do the same.

Kelli Reese (Hatten)

Good evening everyone! We made it home today without a hitch. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who put the reunion together. Michael had a great time and even said he would like to come back. Just wanted to give a shout out to the 4am crew, you know who you are, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get to know you guys better. Hopefully, when we make back into town we'll have to crash Ray's house again!!

Okay guys, this is totally unrelated to all the reunion stuff, but an important tidbit of information you parents of young children may be interested in knowing......Pull-ups don't wash well. Faith hardly ever wears them to bed anymore, but she was so incredibly tired last night I was afraid she might not wake up if she needed to go to the bathroom. Well, this morning she did not take of her PJ bottoms and pull-up separately. She took them off all together. And of course I forgot she was wearing it and was not being exceptionally careful in sorting the clothes today. (One of Jim's khaki socks got bleached with the whites, and now it's kind of vomit colored.) Anyway, I just got into the washer to transfer the clothes to the dryer and SURPRISE! That clear, absorbent, gelatin-like stuff that is inside the pull-up is everywhere. Happy Monday.

Stacy - we can sort of relate. This past summer we let Paul play in the sprinkler in his diaper. Needless to say, we had to strip him down outside due to the same stuff from the diaper. He loved running around the driveway stark naked. We were just waiting for the cop that lives down the street to drive by.
