We Will Rule Forevermore,
We're the Class of '84!
30th Reunion Schedule of Events
June 20-21, 2014
Friday, June 20 Golf, Downtown Tulsa Pub Crawl & Mixer
Come see how cool downtown Tulsa has (finally) become! Dress is casual. We will catch the downtown trolley (free) to take us from place to place - or you can easily walk and enjoy the unique sites and sounds of downtown Tulsa. We’ll have maps of downtown available at Fassler Hall.
Daytime: Memorial Football Team golf tourney at Hard Rock Casino and Resort. Those of you who have said you are interested in golf have gotten information. If you are interested, please contact Doug Bauer at dbauer@bauertulsa.com.
6:30—8:30 Fassler Hall. 304 S Elgin Ave. Enjoy casual food and a huge selection of beer and beverage choices.
8:30—10:30 The Max Retropub, 114-c South Elgin Avenue . Tulsa’s only 1980s-style retro-pub. Bring quarters to enjoy the video games!
10:30—? Penthouse Rooftop Bar of the Mayo Hotel. 115 W 5th St. Enjoy views of Tulsa while annoying Tulsa’s elite 20-somethings by talking loudly about how much cooler our generation is.
Saturday, June 21 School Tour and Party at Cain’s
Noon: Memorial High School Tour. Meet at the high school (we aren’t providing the address—you are still young enough to remember, right?) and tour the old school. We’ll also look at the brand-new arena - no half-court basketball in the old gym for today’s Chargers!
7:00—12:00: So awesome it’s on the National Registry of Historic Places, Cain’s Ballroom (423 North Main Street) is the site of our Saturday night dinner and party. Dress is still casual but wear your dancing shoes! Food provided by Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ. Your MC for the night will be the legendary Scott Jeter. We will have live music by two alumni-led bands: Beacon Drive (classic rock fronted by alum Dana Schuler Drummond) and OMG (alum Jon Maas’ retro 80s band). We’ll also have lots of activities and displays—it’s going to be an awesome party.
