Oklahoma Historical Society features Will Rogers High School in Chronicles of Oklahoma

Will Rogers High School, established in 1939, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, "with historic significance," in 2007 by the United States Department of the Interior. This article appeared in The Chronicles of Oklahoma, published by the Oklahoma Historical Society, Vol. LXXXV, Number Four, Winter, 2007-08. The author, Cathy Ambler, holds the Ph.D. in American Studies and is a free-lance research specialist in historic preservation. She details the pedagogical planning and architectural design of one of Tulsa's educational and Art Deco showplaces. This article is based on her National Register nomnation.
