Judy Barbieux Owens, 70, passed away on February 23, 2012 in Owasso, OK surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 3, 1941 in Tulsa, OK to Mr. and Mrs. Barbieux. On January 23, 1979, she married Hershel Owens in Tulsa, OK. Judy worked as an accountant the most part of her life, but her passion was selling Avon. She fell into it on accident and ended up becoming an award winning sales representative. Judy had a great memory and enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, knitting and even floral design in her later years. She loved to read, cook, volunteer with RSVP and watch NASCAR with her husband. Judy is survived by her husband, Hershel Owens; children, Pam Owens, Jan Kelley, Bill Owens, Bob Owens and Sheldon Owens; 13 grandchildren; and 2 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Edith Jane Oakes; and one grandson, Brandon Kelley. Pri vate family services will be held per Judy’s wishes to “keep it simple” which was the way she lived her life. Services entrusted to Kennedy-Kennard Funeral & Cremation, Broken Arrow 918-251-5331.
