After graduating I attended Messiah College for two years. I met my husband there.
Ron and I spent the first year of married life in Camp Hill, PA. We then moved to Ron's hometown of Chambersburg, PA where we lived for a year. Ron entered the US Army and we spent the next 3 1/2 years of our lives enjoying life in Hawaii. It was a great time for us to solidify as a family, creating our own traditions. Our second and third daughters were both born in Hawaii.
We returned to the US mainland and settled down for 6 years in Chambersburg.
In 1996 we joined Wycliffe Bible Translators to serve in the area of computer support for Bible Translation. After several years of training and partnership development we moved to Papua (formerly Irian Jaya), Indonesia where we have lived for the last eight years.
Our two oldest daughters graduated from the international school here and are living in Lynchburg, VA. Rachel, our oldest graduated from Liberty University this year and was married one year ago. Hannah, our third daughter will graduate from the same high school here in Papua this school year and we will be returning to the US for a one year furlough.
I'm looking forward to going back to college myself next year to begin working on a degree in elementary education specializing in art.
