Worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 5 years; then I went to Cal Fire in Riverside, Fresno and then the Lassen/Modoc ranger unit and retired in Modoc county in Adin, CA. In 2001 I industrial disability retired because while I was driving the Fire Academy I was hit head-on by a drunk-driver. This ended my career. My injuries have slowed me but have not stopped me. At about the time of the accident, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis; when it rains it pours. Since then, I've served locally on the Fire District Board. I've been able to receive grants to acquire new Fire engines and safety equipment some of the
local communities.
Well, what I can truly say is I couldn't have done anything in my life if it weren't
for: good food, great friends and an Awesome Lord.
