Michael K. Oglesby passed away from a brain tumor on December 4, 3018 at the age of 67. Mike had battled Glio-neuroblastoma since spring of 2017. He had retired from AT&T 3 months prior to his diagnosis.He was a resident of Brandon, Mississippi. He was survived by his wife, Kathleen, his sons: Michael, Paul and Andrew, and daughters: Amanda and Andrea. He had 5 grandchildren and 2 great greanchildren. Service is Saturday December 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's By-The-Lake Episcopal Church, Brandon, Ms.

I remember Mike as a kind person. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing after suffering such a difficult illness. My condolences go out to his family and to the rest of our classmates.

I am so sorry to hear this. Mike was a great friend in high school. I moved to Brandon, Ms. in 1974 after living in Birmingham since 1971. I didn't know that Mike was in Brandon probably at the same time. Joe (Joe Sasser), my first husband and I lived in Crossgates until we moved to Atlanta, Ga.
