Debbie Oliver Hughes

Graduated from U of A in 1979, worked at Central
Foundry for 10 years, have been with Tuscaloosa
County School System at Hillcrest High School
for the past 25 years as Bookkeeper. Married
in 1973, moved to Manora Ests. in 1974. Raised
two children, and spend a lot of time in Marietta,
Ga with daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons.
Follow Alabama Football, season ticket holders,
and travel to a lot of away games, lots of fun!
Owned a Motorhome for several years, and enjoy
the camping scene. Current members of First
Baptist Church, and active in Sunday School,
and several other project programs.

I remember the smoking court for boys on the
cement slab at back of school, my how things
have changed in the school systems! Enjoyed
Mrs. Riley's French classes, Mrs. Roberts HomeEc
and Mrs. Patrick's history! Remember, we could
start wearing pants, as long as they were in
a pant suit form!
