After graduating from Northern Arizona University in 1988 I began my career in television news and worked as a reporter/anchor at several network stations in Arizona, Idaho and Pennsylvania where I met my husband and began my family. In 2010, after nearly 20 years in broadcasting, I decided it was time to spend more time with my family and retired. In 2011 I ran for State Representative in Pennsylvania and in 2013 I received my state insurance license. My career and my family has kept me in Pennsylvania where we continue to live.

I loved being a Bruins" cheerleader! It has changed so much from then to now! We now travel all over the country competing! Pep rallies were my favorite!
